How would you describe your “DJ Personality” or “DJ Style”? I am the most musically diverse DJ. If you want a little taste of every decade + genre, I am your man! If we can dance to it, then it can be played! My goal is for couples + clients to feel that their event was completely customized to what they and their loved ones wanted every time.
What is your favorite DJ memory? –or– What was the funniest thing to ever happen at an event? My favorite DJ memory was the first time I noticed how much impact I had on a couple. When it’s scheduled, after such an amazing wedding reception, we have the guests step out and prepare for the grand exit. While the guests are setting up, I played a sweetheart song for the couple so they could enjoy a private dance together at the end of the wedding. One night, before they left for the grand exit, the couple came up to me and gave me the biggest hugs! That’s always when I know what kind of impact I made that night.
What is your proudest achievement as a DJ? I am proud when I am able to develop something new to each event. Every couple + client is different so whatever I can add to the party that makes them feel like the wedding was specifically tailored to them is what I call a success!
What makes you unique? The thing that makes me unique is my efforts as a Emcee. I love the introductions of the wedding party + couple because it is an opportunity to allow us to make the entrances into your reception epic! I look for ways to make every guest feel like I am speaking directly to them. Participation is key and for everyone to feel that they are included creates is the best outcome.

I became a DJ because it provided the opportunity to feel music on another level. You can really move a crowd by playing the right song, you can control the energy of a whole venue. It’s really an exciting feeling.

I don’t have one specific memory, but every time I get to watch two families come together and bond on the dance floor, it becomes a special moment for me.

"We loved using complete wedding and we loved our DJ Romey, he played the perfect playlists for us, we requested a mix of latin /90s-2000s hip hop/cheesy love songs and even got the shy people out on the floor, his hype man even learned some of guests names and helped everyone feel included, he even took our Polaroid camera we were using for the guest and got some great group pics with us, music timing was perfect and he listened to our wants/do not wants. I am very detail oriented and want to make sure that everything you have planned will go according to how you envision it. However, I like to blend the organization with some energy and hype! I want everything to go according to plan while allowing everyone to have an absolutely awesome time along the way.
What is your favorite DJ memory?
I always love when a couple has an inside joke with their guests and I get to trigger that joke with a song! I can’t tell you how fun it is to play an out of the box song and have everyone laugh and respond so positively to it.
What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?
I love being able to help couples bring these moments they’ve had in their head for so long to life. Being able to see a couple’s joy throughout their wedding day as their perfect day unfolds is priceless!

I think what makes me stand out is the ability to take a group of people that have different tastes in music and different personalities and get them to interact and have a blast with each other all night. Being able to genuinely enjoy the event is such an amazing thing for me and I’m honored to bring these experiences to couples.

What is your favorite DJ memory?
When one of the bridal party members started dancing on top of a table and when her mother noticed, her only response was to tell me “I don’t know where she gets it from”, then continued the celebrate the night.
What is your favorite thing about being a DJ?
My favorite this watching the music move the people! It doesn’t matter what type of music they like, as long as they like it, I love it!

I love interacting with new friends and I have no fear when being asked to be a part of the event!
